In our Young Toddler Room, toddlers continue their acquisition of knowledge through a safe and carefully constructed developmentally appropriate environment and through a curriculum that celebrates their growing physical and cognitive abilities.
Young Toddlers are movers and groovers. They seek to bridge the security and confidence they have in their caregivers with a growing sense of confidence in themselves and their abilities to explore the world around them. With increased mobility and self-confidence young toddlers learn to make positive choices, manipulate toys, and through their discoveries and successes develop a healthy autonomy and self esteem. Educators encourage and support young toddlers throughout their explorations, guiding them to safe outcomes via positive pathways to learning new things.
In Magic Garden’s supportive environment Toddler’s come to know they are loved and valued for who they are. Their sense of contribution to the world and their value in it fosters a stable self-respect, supporting and guiding them in their journey to grow towards their full potential.
