Thanks to the generosity of many donors to the Peggy McSweeney Enrichment Fund, Magic Garden pre-school and pre-k children enjoyed a full morning with Melissa, our instructor, from PuddleStompers Nature Explorations. We engaged in an outdoor circle time that included a few games that illustrated the feeding and soaring habits of hawks and Melissa taught the children about the “chopping block” where hawks prepare their food! After circle time, we explored the trails on campus, discovering animal tracks, bird feathers, and detected the scent of a Red Tailed Fox. Lots of learning and lots of fun! Thanks, Melissa!
