In the Rainbow Room, The Little Scarecrow Boy by Margaret Wise Brown is a current Circle Time favorite. The children adore this tale. When Ms. Sheryl and Ms. Melyssa heard that the Concord Public Library was organizing a scarecrow festival, they knew the Rainbow friends simply had to contribute. During Choice Time, the girls and boys painted trousers, a hat and a flannel shirt. On another day, the students helped cram hay into the colorful garments. After a great deal of love, Rainbow Room’s own little scarecrow boy joined the class. Our new pal really enjoyed Snack Time! He can now be found at the Concord Public Library, lounging in a chair, greeting all the patrons!
